What I Specialise In:
I thrive working with clients who have disabilities or health conditions, helping them navigate their challenges with creative, science-backed solutions. I also specialise in muscle growth, fat loss, and body transformation—thanks to my years as a competitive bodybuilder. Teaching and coaching are what truly drive me.
My Training Philosophy:
Be consistent and be honest with yourself. If it’s important to you, you’ll find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.
Who I Work With:
Everyone—from kids to elderly adults. If you’re willing to learn and put in the effort, I’m here for it.
What Gets Me Buzzing About Coaching:
The moment a client says, “Oh, I feel that more!” after a tweak to their form… or the excitement when pain disappears because we’ve trained around an injury. I love the “lightbulb” moments. Everyone’s body moves differently, and I’m all about finding what works best for each individual. I also get a kick out of answering questions—being tested keeps me sharp.
What I Can Do Without:
Boring cardio! Unless you’re training for endurance sport, most of your fitness goals can be smashed with weights and circuits. I'd rather push through 24 different 1-minute resistance stations than run 24 minutes on a treadmill.
My Background:
Ex-bodybuilder and proud of it. I placed top 3 or won regionally for 12 consecutive years, ranked top 4–6 nationally with UKBFF, and took 3rd in Europe with the WBFF. That passion led me to the world of sport science, and I’m now in my final year of university working toward a BSc in Sport Science.
Outside the Gym:
I love gardening, DIY and upgrading my castle (aka home). You’ll usually find me in the backyard, soaking up the sun or relaxing in the hot tub. I’ve always got a to-do list—and I genuinely enjoy ticking things off. Most importantly, I value time with my wife and two daughters. Family, health, and longevity are everything to me, and I want my clients to prioritise those too.
Favourite Training Style:
Hypertrophy. I love the tension, the control, and the pain—embracing every rep like a badge of honour. I always say it’s like a socially acceptable form of self-harm… but in a good way.
Quote I Live By:
I actually follow a lot of rules that compose quotes, but as a taster, I'll say, "If it’s important to you, you’ll find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse."
