The Axe & Hammer Story
Founded in 2019 by Danny Arnold. Danny is a personal trainer and sport scientist as well as a competitive bodybuilder. After being successful in bodybuilding, competing at national and international levels, Danny decided to put his knowledge to good use and became a personal trainer. Being a lover of science; biology specifically, information about complex biological functions came natural to understand. This information can be explained in simple enough terms for anyone to understand and benefit from.
After building a client base and experience in the PT industry, Danny looked at how he could help more people at once.

We realised a class would reach more people at one time but all the classes already available anywhere were limited to the equipment that was used. Most exercises were bodyweight or running and jumping. But the studies show that muscle growth and calorie burning is more when done with heavier weight, it stimulates the nervous system to utilise more muscle fibres during exercise. So that is what we do.
And classes are perfect training methods; easily gets people out of their comfort zones, already designed, all instructed so that you know what you're doing, surrounded by a community of equal measure who can help each other out.

It was as if, classes were just an additional extra that was offered by gyms. So we thought, lets design the class first and then build a gym for the class !
Then, we made the environment feel more fun with a splash of creative UV paint, colour floods and blacklights because no other gym does !
Then Axe & Hammer Fitness was born


Exercises used in the circuit are changed on a weekly basis to encourage fresh stimulus and keep responses strong.
Equipment used can be a combination of any of the following (remember, every exercise in the circuit is demonstrated by the coach before every class) :
